The local financial file
Assets, liabilities, goal inputs, monthly cash-flow entries, currency and snapshots use browser local storage. They are not uploaded through sign-in or support forms. Local storage is not an encrypted vault and may be accessible to others using the same browser profile.
Backups
Exports contain readable JSON with the financial information you recorded. Store them appropriately. Import reads your selected file locally and replaces the current local workspace after your confirmation.
Accounts and support
Registration stores your name, email address and salted password hash. Support requests store the contact details, topic, reference and message you submit, along with status and submission time. Do not include financial records, bank credentials or private identifiers in support messages.
Sessions and payments
An HTTP-only session cookie can maintain sign-in for up to seven days. Support requests and software invoices assigned to an account are restricted to that account. The payment provider handles card details. This site records payment references and status, not payment card numbers.
Purpose and retention
Submitted information is used for account access, handling software enquiries and fulfilling separately agreed software services. Retention depends on the request and applicable record-keeping obligations. Ask through the contact form about access, correction or deletion, using only a relevant reference.
Site services
No advertising trackers or third-party analytics are included. Account sign-in does not restore or synchronise the local financial file.
